Today Bihar celebrating Bihar Diwas 2016. Bihar turned 104 years today. In 1912 Bihar separated from Bangal. Bihar Diwas First time celebrated in 2010 by Bihar Government in the tenure of Nitish Kumar. Gandhi maidan is all set for this occasion. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will inaugurate this function at 4:30 PM today. Patna DM Sanjay Agrawal and SSP Manu Maharaj visited Gandhi maidan and check all security and other management.
Today Bollywood singer Alka Yagnik will perform with her team. Apart from Alka, many national and international artist will perform. Hasya kavi sammelan will held at Ravindra Bhavan on 23rd March. Bihar Divas also celebrating in other part of India. Apart from India, it is celebrated in countries including United States, Britain, Australia, Canada, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Trinidad and Tobago and Mauritius.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the people of Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Diwas, the state’s foundation day. “Bihar Diwas greetings to the people of Bihar,” the Prime Minister tweeted.
