A Bihari boy Ishan Kishan going to lead team India in Under-19 World Cup
A Bihari boy Ishan Kishan going to lead team India in Under-19 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh from January 27 next year. Ishan Kishan has been named captain if India’s 15 member squad. He is an opening batsman from Jharkhand. He belongs to Nawada district of Bihar. Rishabh Pant, also a left handed batsman who keeps wickets named as his deputy by the national junior selection committee, headed by Venkatesh Prasad.
Kishan has proven leadership credentials. He led India to victory in the Tri-Nation Under-19 Tournament involving Sri Lanka and England in Sri Lanka.
