Jitan ram manjhi’s boat sank in Bihar election
Jitan Ram Manjhi’s boat sank in Bihar election. Manjhi himself contested election from Makhdumpur and Imamganj. He lost from Makhdumpur, but he won from Imamganj against Bihar assembly speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary. Jitan Ram’s party contested on 22 seats but party won only single seat of Imamganj.
Yesterday as counting started, NDA leading in first hour. Manjhi made a statement, “Ready to Be Chief Minister If Asked”. It is very poor situation for those contesting election from Jitan Ram’s Party. They come with Manjhi when Nitish Kumar decide to step down Manjhi. Senior leader and ex- minister Brishin Patel also lost in this election from Vaishali.
In election complain Majhi projected himself as Dalit leader. He thought all Dalit society will vote for him, mainly in Magadh reason. He got very good response while campaigning, but as election result come, it shown all Bihar refuse him. This assembly election result put a question mark on Manjhi’s political carrier.
